In 2022 my oldest child and I joined Chip Off The Block Sanctuary for classes. We loved them so much that soon my middle child also joined. Over the months of attending the classes Sarah and I developed a wonderful friendship. After a few conversations, Sarah disclosed her need for assistance with admin due to the stress it was causing her. With a background in business admin and being a stay-at-home mum, I have now taken over the admin side of the business to allow Sarah to focus on her passion for woodwork and her students.
Sarah and I met through working together in aged care several years ago. Common interests caused us to form a strong, lasting friendship. Despite living in another state I am able to assist Sarah to implement and maintain her social media and website presence.
I assist with all things technical and computer related and have great knowledge of all things IT. I'm incredibly proud of the progress Sarah and the team has made, and I'm forever thankful for giving her the push she needed in the beginning. She is an amazing teacher and an even better "boss".
As Sarah’s best friend, when she told me she wanted to kickstart this business I jumped on board and helped her jump through all the hoops that starting a business required. I made many phone calls, performed research, spoke to parents, went shopping and generally supported sarah in all her endeavours. Throughout the entire journey I have continued to support the business and encouraged her vision to expand. I still do a lot of running around and shopping for the business.
